Lauren King

Lauren was born and raised in Carlsbad, CA and graduated from Cal State San Marcos in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development. She and her husband  purchased their home in San Marcos in 2004, and could not be happier with the decision that they have made. They make the most of the parks and open space that is abundant within the City, especially now that they have grown into a family of four. 

 

Community and relationships with people are really important to Lauren. The vision of the Friends of San Marcos is very much in line with her family’s focus on living a healthy and active lifestyle. Lauren feels privileged to have been welcomed as a Board member for the Friends of San Marcos in 2017, and appreciates the opportunity to create impact within her community.
