Debbie Thompson

Debbie was born in Los Angeles, CA, moved to Poway, CA in 1967, then to Ramona in 1984, where she currently resides.  Debbie is currently single with four children, six grandchildren, 6 grand-dogs and two dogs of her own.

 

In 1975, she started a career in Banking with Escondido National Bank, which over the 37 years of name changes and mergers became Union Bank.  The last assignment, of 17 years at Union Bank was as the Vice President / Branch Manager of the San Marcos office.    In June 2012, she retired from Union to begin a new opportunity with California Bank & Trust as Vice President / Relationship Manager for the San Marcos and Vista Office.  

 

During the 17 years in San Marcos, Debbie has been and is currently involved in the following organizations;

• Presidents Associates Member for Palomar College assisting with fundraisers, scholarships and much more.

• Board of Director for the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos for 10 years, currently the Chairwomen of the Board.

• Rotary of San Marcos member for the past 5 years, currently on the Board for membership.

• San Marcos Chamber member

 

In her spare time Debbie enjoys visiting her grandchildren, waterskiing with the family, going to the desert or just being outdoors!
